The ATD (Association for Talent Development) 2023 International Conference and Expo brought together professionals and experts from the Learning & Development industry to exchange ideas, showcase innovative solutions, and shape the future of workplace training. From captivating keynote speeches and interactive workshops to expert thought leadership and networking opportunities, ATD 2023 was a spectacular opportunity to advance and improve the L&D space.

Connecting with Clients & Partners

We were thrilled to see so many familiar faces at ATD and enjoyed the opportunity to connect with clients and partners in-person. Seeing partners such as 360Learning, Go1, Cornerstone, & OpenSesame, and clients such as JVS, at the conference was refreshing and helped strengthen the relationships we’ve worked to cultivate with true Learning & Development innovators and leaders.

Showcasing Extended Reality Solutions

Our AR & VR solutions were a huge hit at ATD! During the conference, we premiered our augmented reality and virtual reality solutions to the public and were met with an overwhelmingly positive response. To highlight our extended reality solutions, we debuted our Intellezy immersive cube and offered guided virtual reality demos led by Destery Hildenbrand, XR Solution Architect. Destery also presented a talk on XR with Betty Dannewitz, Founder & CEO of ifyouaskbetty LLC, entitled “The XR Files: Immersive Technology for Learning Explained.” In this eye-opening session, Destery took a deep dive into XR, explaining how it can be used effectively in blended learning experiences and how organizations can implement XR into their overall Learning & Development.

Our Intellezy immersive cube was featured prominently at our booth and even won an award for Best Swag from 4imprint. This immersive cube gives users a hands-on, interactive augmented reality experience that’s both educational and entertaining. After initially scanning a QR code on a mobile device, users are brought into an engaging and immersive augmented reality experience. As users rotate the cube, they can get information on our services, watch samples of our work, schedule a discovery call with our team, and even have some fun with a virtual photo booth.

Our virtual reality demos gave booth visitors a firsthand look at how VR can be used for both hard skills and soft skills training. Our VR demos included fire extinguisher training in a simulated job site environment along with a separate scenario featuring Mr. Thomas Kim, a photorealistic avatar that helps learners hone in on soft skills through conversations in an immersive VR environment.
